Abort an announcement

Stops an announcement for good. Works on a running or a paused announcement, and cannot be undone - an aborted announcement will never send again, and there is no endpoint to restart it. Use pause instead if you may want to continue later. As with pause, delivery stops at the next batch: recipients already handed to the mail server still receive their copy. An aborted announcement is deliberately distinct from a finished one, which ran out of audience on its own.
